‘Dig It’ by The Beatles
2023 was the 60th anniversary of The Beatles playing in Guernsey. The Guernsey Arts Commission invited local artists to each pick a song from a randomly allocated Beatles album. I was allocated ‘Let It Be’ from which I picked ‘Dig It.’ The final image contains all the lyrics in order and using the fonts of the time, with associated imagery that has been repainted and made to look like torn posters.
